Ancient Greek City situated on the South-Western coast of Sicily. The ruins of Selinunte are located on the territory of Castelvetrano City. Today, all of the involved land forms an archaeological park of 40 hectares. The sculptures found in the ruins of Selinunte are mainly exposed at the National Archaeological Museum of Palermo. Exception for the most famous artwork, the Efebo, which is now exposed at the Museum of the Castelvetrano City.

The Egadi Islands are an archipelago of western Sicily. The archipelago consists of three islands and two islets, plus a series of rocks and cliffs, and is located about 7 km from the western coast of Sicily, between Trapani and Marsala City, in the province of Trapani. They were already known in antiquity with the Latin name ‘Aegates’ which comes from the greek language, and means 'islands of the goats’. On the archipelago there is the Egadi Islands Marine Nature Reserve.
